Keys Fashion: Fashion Week Preview

Ryan Keys with K Naomi Noinyane, Cassandra Twala and Dove Representative Vanessa Mhango at the Fashion Week Preview.

Think about the Maldives… the aqua water, colourful corals and sandy beaches. Imagine if you were able to take it home. Well, Ryan Keys did just that.

After a trip to the gorgeous island, the designer coordinated a range with inspiration from the beachy environment.

Think opulent fabrics, shiny crystals and an array of colours, effortlessly coming together to form a range so delightful you’ll feel like you stepped into a different world.

His favourite gown consists of 3km of net! You’ll have to book your ticket for tonight’s show to peek at this one – we can’t wait to see it in real life.

This dress will be accompanied by 32 other garments at Fashion Week, taking place at Protea Court, Sandton.

Keys also announced his partnership with Dove and their invisible dry product at the Preview. Not only was Dove’s invisible dry tested on 100 colours and doesn’t leave marks, it also moisturizes while leaving you smelling fresh. Keys demonstrated that it doesn’t leave marks by spraying new pieces from his collection at the brunch.

Dove’s invisible dry range aims to empower women and give them confidence to wear colour. Keys’ colourful collection provided the perfect platform for collaboration.

The collection includes Keys’ signature feather and beading work, giving the garments a Gatsby feel. It’s open design and net fabrics celebrates a women’s frame.
